چکیده

Probiotic microorganisms are an indispensable part of a healthy life. The usage areas the probiotic Bacillus licheniformis bacteria quite wide, from contributing to development immune system reducing cholesterol, which is important cause cardiovascular diseases. In this study, (isolate 29) was isolated traditional yoghurt sample obtained town Hatipli/ Tokat/ Türkiye. And it’s genotypic and characterizations were performed. Our results showed that grew better at pH 5. survival rate in artificial gastric intestinal fluid determined as 47.51% 65.29%, respectively. isolate degraded all tested sodium salts, including Sodium glycocholate hydrate, taurodeoxy Cholate, taurocholic acid, tauroglyco thioglycolate. Its surface hydrophobicity found be moderately 30.31 ± 0.009% n-Hexadecane. Although RA5 antibiotic had largest zone diameter (10 mm), susceptibility not among discs tested. These findings indicated can good probiotics candidate lower cholesterol levels.
